A Week of Celebration; Birthday, Reflections and Opportunities for You
Summer birthdays are something else. As a child, when I was planning my birthday parties I had to invite those kids who weren’t away for vacation. Best friends were often somewhere else. I had to do the best with what I had, you will understand. Hard lessons learned at young age, don’t mind the sarcasm, taught some simple ones later on. In a nutshell, doing the best with what you have is a way to go. What is the point wishing for a different birthday next year and missing the opportunity of having a good one now?
Today I am 42. Hopefully, a long way to go. If I could, I’d choose to live to 110. Don’t ask me why. With all the reflections, all the insights and advice I could share with quite some life experience in my feet, I would actually sum it all to one simple wish, advice and lesson at the same time.
Be the best human you possibly can. That is it. That is the only one thing that matters. Very often, it is the most challenging.
