"Birthdays. Aren’t they something? Whether you celebrate them or avoid them, they sneak up on you year after year, leaving no window open for escape. We’re getting older and, hopefully, wiser with each passing year. The sooner you surrender to this endless flow, the better.
The Unique Charm of Summer Birthdays
Summer birthdays hold a special place in my heart. As a child, I often found myself planning birthday parties while my best friends were away on vacation. I had to invite those who were around, making the best of what I had. You might understand this feeling. Hard lessons learned at a young age, don’t mind the sarcasm, taught me some simple truths later on. In a nutshell, doing the best with what you have is the way to go. What’s the point in wishing for a different birthday next year while missing the opportunity to enjoy a good one now?

Happiness (is not) on the other side
Oftentimes, we wait for something to happen—a transformation, a peak to reach, or old skin to shed—before we do the things we want to do. We procrastinate, prolonging our satisfaction. Sometimes, it’s about building strength and preparing ourselves. More often, though, it’s fear. Deep inside, we feel a sense of separation.
"Once I get my chores done, I will paint. Once I get the kids to bed, I will write. Once summer is over, I will start my project." We delay our own contentment and the desire of our spirit to expand. The social and cultural influences are real, and I dare say that fighting them won’t solve anything. It’s our responsibility to find the strength—not to fight, but to withdraw our senses inside and hear the whisper of our own truth. A truth that directs our being into bloom, freeing the soul. A truth our spirit is trying to convey.
A repeatedly practiced action sums up over time, changing our way of being. This is the true Art of Life.

Hold Your Vision Close to Your Heart
The journey from idea to realization can be long for many reasons. However, holding the vision in your heart and taking tiny steps toward it is truly a mastery. There is no universal blueprint for everyone. Some jump into the void and learn to fly along the way. Others hire a coach or book a photographer to step into the spotlight. There’s no right or wrong way—only a better or less effective way that resonates with you. A better way comes from deep inner knowing and understanding, a path that can be practiced and improved.
Today, I am 42. I hope to have a long way to go. If I could choose, I’d want to live to 110. Don’t ask me why. With all the reflections, insights, and advice I could share from my life experiences, I would sum it all up in one simple wish, advice, and lesson at the same time:
Be the best human you possibly can. That is it. That is the only thing that truly matters. Very often, it’s the most challenging.

Thank You for Being Here: Here’s What I Have Prepared for You
I love throwing parties and hosting events. The moment an idea sparks, a vision forms, and momentum builds is exhilarating. The guests, the menu, the details—they don’t all come at once but unfold throughout the process. I often take on too much, as my ideas grow brighter and brighter, and I can’t resist the urge to make them happen. This part—the creation, imagination, execution, preparation, and visualization—merges together beautifully as the days go by.
So, it happened again. I wanted to celebrate this birthday with you, and I’ll make this party last for a week. A week filled with inspiration, motivation, and beautiful opportunities for you. Alongside my regular content on Instagram, expect a few surprises throughout the week.
