A sense of a new beginning
A new something has been birthed. Perhaps it is not been fully shaped yet but this time I want to write about it here, on the blog. Of course it has not been fully shaped yet; it has just been birthed. I ask myself, why do I sometimes expect for my ideas to materialise immediately when all things in nature take time? Perhaps it has to do with the old stories, of God creating everything day by day. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” And it all started with the Word. Was the Word the idea?
And how do we know that day that once was is the same as a day in duration we know it now? In eastern philosophies a Brahma’s “day” (Brahma being the creator god) is something that lasts for more than 4 billion human years. Perhaps this is how long it took God to create Earth. And yet, I expect my vision to be unfolded in days or weeks while juggling with so many aspects of life at the same time.
